Artist's Comments
A texture project that was assigned for my final in art class. I worked on it for approxamatley a week and a half. (There were two weeks to finish the final.) I had so much fun with this. The speal was to draw A grid in pencil, and look at an image and sketch that image over the grid. Then, you had to fill each sqaure of the grid with a different texture, darker textures for the darker areas (i.e. the background and shadows on the face) and lighter textures for lighter areas (covering mostly the whole portrait of the dog.)
I think there are a few things I could improve on this. My friends and my parents like it alot. My mom accurally liked it enough to go out of her way to buy me a nice frame that matches my room and framed it for me! I feel so loved! Oh yes, and I recieved a B+ on the final. (My art teacher is a really harsh grader, hardley anyone in our class ever gets a high grade on anything.) |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. It was a project for my art class! Oh my gosh! That is a real compliment my friend! That is so awesome! I had no freackin' idea that ppl would really like it that much, plus the scanning job sucks. I should probably re-scan it, but I'm to darn lazy.^^ That's like the best comment anyone's ever given me on my art!!!!!!!!!
